Timeless Memories from British Columbia, Canada

There are photographs that always feel more meaningful and special than others. For me, these images stand out because of the memories they hold, the places they capture, and the people I associate with them. You see the photographs and instantly remember how it felt to be there, to be present in that moment. A big part of that experience is because I'm a film photographer.

I absolutely love shooting film—everything about it. From the mechanical feel of the vintage camera to the sound of the film advancing, the rich colors, and the unique grain. When I look back at old analogue photographs, they never seem outdated to me.

These particular images are from a distant wander through the serene landscape of British Columbia, Canada. Everything was photographed on medium format film in August 2022. My trusty, bulky Pentax 67ii was there with me, capturing the untouched beauty of breathtaking places, where there were fewer people and more moments of peace.
