MODERN FILM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Napa Wedding Photographer | Radostina Boseva

Napa Valley vineyard wedding venue with rose garden, wildflowers, and rolling vine rows — film wedding photography by Radostina Boseva

As Seen In…

Radostina Boseva, a Sonoma wedding photographer, is sitting and looking to her left. Her long hair graces her right shoulder. She's wearing a white button-up shirt.

Radostina Boseva is a Napa wedding photographer who works exclusively with real film, the analog kind that never goes out of style. Some of her cameras are older than she is, and that is exactly the point. Film slows things down and captures the feeling of a fleeting glance, the quiet in-betweens, and the soft beauty of a day that unfolds naturally.

Based in California and originally from Europe, Radostina photographs weddings throughout Napa Valley for couples who value authenticity over trends.

Whether documenting an intimate vineyard celebration or a private estate wedding in Napa, she brings a calm presence and an artist’s perspective that allows couples to simply be. They do not perform for the camera. They welcome it into their world, and in return this Napa wedding photographer creates imagery that feels timeless, natural, and quietly cinematic.

In March 2024 Radostina received recognition by Rangefinder Magazine, New York and was named as a Rising Star of Wedding Photography.

Radostina is represented by Apartment Twenty, NY

“Radostina seamlessly blends the modern with the classic, infusing her imagery with elegance to craft pure visual poetry. She has a masterful ability to freeze time as it collides with human connection and emotion.”

“Radostina's work offers a refreshing departure from the conventional wedding photography scene and overly prescribed photos, infusing vintage film techniques to evoke nostalgia and imbue her imagery with a sense of history.”

Wedding Photography in Napa, Seen Quietly

Napa is unhurried. It is golden and textured, rooted in land and light, with a stillness that gives weddings room to breathe. The valley moves at its own pace — and the best wedding photography here honors that rather than working against it.

My approach as a Napa wedding photographer is shaped by this environment. The vineyards, the afternoon light falling across open fields, the intimacy of estate dining — these are not backdrops. They are part of the story. My role is to observe rather than orchestrate, and to let the landscape hold the day without consuming it.

This is where film is at its most natural. The grain, the warmth, the way it renders golden hour light — film was made for Napa.

Napa weddings unfold across some of the most beautiful settings in California — from the Four Seasons Napa Valley and Auberge du Soleil to Montage Calistoga, Silverado Resort, Stanley Ranch, Beaulieu Garden and private Yountville estates. Each venue carries its own character, its own relationship to the land, and its own demands on how a day is photographed.

If you are looking for a Napa wedding photographer who works on film and leads with instinct over direction, this is where we start.

The process…

01. Inquiry + initial consultation

It begins with your inquiry.

You share the basics — location, date, guest count — but more importantly, the feeling you’re after. I read between the lines. Taste matters here.

If it feels aligned, we schedule a call.

This is not a sales call.
It’s a conversation about vision, pace, and how you want the day to feel — not how it’s supposed to look.

02. Consultation + creative alignment

On our call, we talk about:

  • Your overall aesthetic and references

  • How you move through space

  • What you value (privacy, intimacy, energy, restraint)

I don’t work with pre-made packages.
Every proposal is built around your day — its rhythm, location, and scale.

If we’re a match, I create a custom proposal tailored to your celebration.

03. Booking + planning phase

Once booked, your date is secured and the planning begins.

I collaborate quietly and efficiently with your planner (or directly with you) to understand:

  • Timeline flow

  • Light and location

  • Key moments that matter to you, not a checklist

I don’t over-direct or over-schedule.
The goal is space — for moments to unfold naturally.

04. The wedding day

On the day itself, my presence is calm and observant.

I move between:

  • Documentary moments

  • Subtle editorial direction when needed

  • Film and digital capture, always led by light and emotion

No forced poses.
No performative moments.

You stay present.
I take care of the rest.

05. Film-driven editing + curation

Your images are not rushed.

Film is developed, scanned, and carefully color-balanced.
Digital images are edited to sit seamlessly alongside film — cohesive, refined, timeless.

Every gallery is intentionally curated to feel like:

  • A visual narrative

  • A memory, not a highlight reel

  • Something you’ll return to years from now

06. Gallery delivery

Your final gallery is delivered online in a private, beautifully designed format.

What you receive:

  • A complete, story-driven collection

  • High-resolution images for print

  • Web-ready images for sharing

No excess.
No filler.

Just the images that matter.

07. Prints + legacy

Your photographs are meant to live beyond the screen.

I guide you through:

  • Fine-art prints

  • Albums (designed with restraint and intention)

  • Archival options for long-term preservation

This is about legacy — not trends.
