Belle Lumiere Magazine Image of the Year 2020

I woke up yesterday with the amazing news that my double exposure, won the Image of the year 2020 photography award by Belle Lumiere Magazine. I can tell you how good it felt and not only because of the price, but mostly for the support that I received from the photography community. There were so many people who messaged me - telling me that they voted for my picture: people from all around the world, people who I don’t know at all. It felt so good, this random act of kindness.
Huge shout out to the amazing and talented people from Photovision Print, who scanned and developed the film, gorgeous Tanya, and of course to the girls from Bough + Twig, who created this stunning flower bouquet.
